 
                                      Neesha is a passionate advocate who approaches legal challenges with creativity and a commitment to client-centered solutions. She represents individual and institutional clients in criminal prosecutions, internal investigations, regulatory enforcement actions, and complex civil disputes. Neesha also maintains a robust pro bono practice, with an emphasis on indigent defense and protecting the rights of incarcerated persons.
Neesha guides clients through high-stakes legal matters, combining her analytical rigor and innovative thinking to deliver the best possible results. She defends clients at all stages of legal proceedings, from pre-indictment investigations through trial, sentencing, and appeal.
Prior to joining Harris Trzaskoma, Neesha was an associate at the New York office of a large global law firm. While at the firm, she was seconded to a television production company to provide on-site legal advice during the filming of a popular reality television show. Neesha also practiced at a litigation boutique in New York City.
As a student attorney at NYU School of Law, Neesha worked with the Federal Defenders to represent indigent criminal defendants in the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York, as well as with the Legal Defense Fund on Voting Rights Act litigation. She also interned with the Brennan Center for Justice’s Democracy Program and taught Legal Research and Writing at Taconic Correctional Facility, a women’s prison in Bedford, NY.
