Avery has successfully represented major corporations and prominent individuals in a diverse array of high-profile civil and criminal matters. He represents clients at all stages of litigation, from inception through appeal, in state and federal courts around the country. Avery also has experience advising clients in the music, media, and technology industries on a wide range of copyright and trademark issues, from day-to-day counseling to highly contentious public disputes.
Before joining Harris Trzaskoma, Avery was an associate at a highly respected litigation boutique, where he focused on white-collar defense, appeals, and entertainment and IP litigation. He previously served as a law clerk to Judge Pierre N. Leval of the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit and was a litigation associate at a large global law firm.
